Roger Nussbaumer has gathered extensive interdisciplinary management experience in the development and realization of complex large-scale projects. As a qualified ETH/SIA architect and graduate of the Executive MBA Program at the University of St. Gallen, he embodies the expertise, versatility and drive that have led Burckhardt+Partner Zurich to international success in the last few years.

In 1997 he joined Burckhardt+Partner AG, the largest architectural firm in Switzerland, as a partner. In his role as head of the Zurich office he set out to develop a young, innovative and creative high-performance team that would soon thereafter achieve remarkable international results. Roger Nussbaumer has combined his knowledge in architecture and business to devise a vital new strategy. Taking considerable entrepreneurial risks, he gets involved in the test plan-ning and preliminary works of important pioneering projects and invests a substantial amount of his resources into visionary innovation projects that reflect social changes in an exemplary fash-ion. Among these visionary projects is the Swiss Tower, currently the most sophisticated high-rise building in the world (not yet realized), which was designed by his business partner Heinz Moser.
